Netiquette
Netiquette is a set of rules for behaveing properly online. netiquette can affect hwo people think your salkign to them, could be sarcasim, or not meaing to be rude but over email, text, ect they could take it the wrong way. Some examles of a good netiquette is not useing caps or sarcasim, poor netiquette is when you use sarcasim and caps and the person your talking to takes it te wrong way.

You make a very important point about netiquette that a lot of people never understand. It's bad netiquette if people take something the wrong way on the internet. This is different than avoiding flame bait because flame bait causes flames and insensitive comments do not always generate flames. It is bad netiquette to post insensitive comments even if no one flames you for it.
